No, I haven't seen 'Peter's friends', yet. Hugh Laurie is in it as well right? *faints*
I hope I'm gonna find the DVD... *wish me luck!*

Oh, yeah. I've seen it lot of times. I own the VHS tape (well, I bought it years ago). It's really good. Really wonderful, high-quality film. I've known Hugh for a while. And that's why I was shocked when I saw him in House for the first time. I mean, Roger (his character in P'sF) is positively cute. But he's not sex-ay and just plain hawt as in House. *sighs*

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've known Hugh from Sense ans Sensibility and Black Adder, and it was strange seeing him in House. (without his cute english accent... :D)

I not only know the show, I love it to bits. I've been kind of obsessed with it for oh, 20 years! (In a good way. I think so, anyway *g*)

I love Nick and Cody pretty much equally... Nick is maybe fractionally hotter and more adorable :D

We have a little Riptide fandom going on on LJ here :) Umm, I do slash the show, hope that doesn't offend you?

Hehe, seems like we're both obsessed with the show since we're kids. *g* It was the first 'crime'-show my mom used to let me watch, because she thought it wasn't that violent.

I have to say that I fell in love with Nick (joe penny, yeah!) the first time I saw the show. The first episode was the one where he was singing in the Mimi while taking a tour with some tourists... I still remember the song. *g*
Oh, he's adorable. ^^ And he has the hottest car! ;)

Since Riptide is not very famous here in germany, the chance to meet a fan are like...having snow in July or something...*sighs*

Slash doesn't offend me. I'm not a shlas fan, I have to admit, but I like to read fan fiction and if it's good, I don't care much about the pairings. ;)

Is there a Riptide (or riptide related) community around LJ as well?

OMG, I just saw that Riptide is on german tv, again! *dances around* They showing it at 2 in the morning...but wtf, I should be happy that they ARE SHOWING it at least. *g*

Hey :) We don't have a Riptide community, but we kind of hang out. If you wander over to my LJ, and check out who's been commenting on my Riptide posts you'll find the Riptide fans :)

A lot of them are from Germany :) You're so lucky it's back on TV over there. I have just bought the DVDs on e-bay so I'm watching them again - I've just posted a whole lot of screen caps from the Hardcase, in fact.

Yeah, Joe Penny is one very hot man. :)

Relly nice to meet you! I'm glad slash doesn't offend you cos ummm, that's what we do quite a lot...

I talk about Riptide all the time on my LJ, too, it's the whole reason I'm here :)
